Hi, I am Véro,
Ever wondered what a junk journal is, whether it is for you or where to start ? If the answer to these questions is yes, you are at the right place. Come and enter into the world of junk journals.
What is a Junk Journal?
A junk journal is a hand made book, in which you can use all sort of things, “junk” that you already have (envelops, ribbons, papers, book pages, postcards, stamps, tickets…) or things that you buy. It can be as artistic as you are, messy or organised depending on what you are comfortable with.
How do I make a Junk Journal?
You can make a junk journal using a note book, a book or sheets of paper. You can decorate it with anything you want. You can write in it, draw in it or just do some collage. The beauty of junk journaling is that there is only ONE rule “The only one rule for junk journal is that there are no rules”. But this can also be a bit confusing, if that is the case, you will find more information and examples in my blog.
What do I keep in my junk journal?
Would you be surprised if I say “Whatever you want”? You can keep all sort of things that you find pretty, interesting, that remind you of something… And regarding what you can record, your imagination is the limit. Do you want to record what is going on in your life, do you want to keep a travel journal, a gratitude journal, a list journal, a gardening journal… For ideas and inspiration, see my blog.
